Woo Hoo, it's a long weekend

And I have three!

count em, THREE days off!

Making art and rodeo.

That's all I intend to do.

OK, maybe a little drive to the mountains.

(just down the street - lol)

And I was lucky enough to win a couple of collage sheets from Lunagirl last month, so I have been trying to find time to create something with those lovely sheets.

When I have more time, I am going to make more with these sheets 

because the colour and images in them are really wonderful!

Our World Tuesday

I live on the praire.

Well IN the prairie, next to the mountains.

I DO NOT live near the ocean.

Nowhere near any large aomounts of water.

So that's why it is so weird that more days than not, lately we have had

fog so thick, I had had to use my fog lights in the daytime, 

to see in front of me on the highway.

It's very green.

But very weird.

I had a really hard time finding a photo that I felt would work for this theme, but I finally tracked down a picutre of some schoolchildren in Havana.

Their joy made me think of childhood and how school can enhance that happiness for some children.

OK, I screwed up.

But I had such a great time doing it.

I got all excited and created this:
