Fa La La

I've been making Christmas cards this more, many.
And I made this one for
Their theme this time is
Fa La La
and I'll have you know,
I sang the whole time I made this.
:-)

Thanks for coming by,
now I can put my Christmas stuff away.

Until next time....

Seriously under the wire...

for this week's Use Your Stuff
Their theme is Use Your stickers.

And I thought to myself, "self?"
"You don't have many stickers..."

But then I realized I have A TON of stickers in my Christmas Stassh,
and I decided to have a Christmas Card Frenzy when I woke up.
So...

And while I was at it, I made one more card for
another lovely Christmas Card Challenge, check my next post...

Thanks for coming by!

Bunny Moon Rising

So I have had NO time to make any art for too long now,
working TOO many hours.
sigh

I decided to check out all my favourite challenge sites
to see Whazzup?
And Whazzup? is that I made one piece for
and
It had to be very intentional
and I could tell you a story about it, but
you can make up your own.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
I miss you all.

Challenge #205-Colour Challenge Time

The new challenge at The Order of the Opus Gluei

That pretty well opens the playing field right up, doesn't it?
All elements are by Holliewood Studios and Hidden Vintage Studios.
What colour do YOU think she should wear?

Now go and check out the lovely projects
the other members of the Opus DT have created for your inspiration and
link up your creative project below in the comments there.
Our next challenge will be posted on April 5.

Mission Embossible

That is our task from the Jingle Belles this week,
should we choose to accept it.

I did.

You may have to look closely to find the embossing,
but it's there.
I made two because
I haven't had a chance to participate lately..
Plus, I like the theme.

Thanks Belles!

Use Your Stuff to Create Your Own Background

At Use Your Stuff this week, we are invited to
CREATE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND

And it just so happens I have been
 amking journal pages this weekend...

The backgrounds were made with a combination of gesso,
Inka Gold, various sprays and stencils and random stamping.
And I used my new gelli plates, which I LOVE!!!

Thanks for coming by!

Electra, over and out.

Street Art

I haven't had any time to make digital art this weekend,
but when I saw that the theme at
STREET ART,
I knew exactly what I wanted to use.
This is a building which in 2011 when I took the photo, was over 100 years old.

It seems to me that this is an example of the original
Street Art.
(It took me longer to find the photo than it did to alter it.)

At any rate, I hope you have a funny week and thanks for stopping by!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Challenge #204 at The Order of the Opus Gluei is
GREEN!
Or St Patrick's Day, if you wish.
I built my piece to say that luck is wherever you find it,
and it's all in the way you write your own story.
That's what I believe, anyhow.

I hope you will join us for our theme and created something
either to honour the Luck of the Irish, or simply to have fun with the colour
GREEN!

You have until March 22 to lnk up with us in the comments at

We look forward to visiting you and seeing what you create!!

Anything But Paper

I will admit,
when I first saw the theme at
Tag Tuesday  this week,
I thought, well, count me out.

But then...

It would be a crime to NOT make something,
with all the crap supplies
I have in my studio.

Thanks for stopping by!
