Whiter Shade of Pale

I am having a lazy day today.

Haven't done much, just kind of

hanging around and blurfing a bit

(blurfing-surfing my favorite blogs)

I got motivated when I saw what the challenge is over at

Gecko Galz Fun

Hi Bloggy-Buddies!

How are ya?

Are you making lots of gorgeous art?

What about our Customer Challenge for this month?

Have you made your piece yet?

Here is my sample for this month's challenge.

All of the products I used can be found in the 

Gecko Galz Etsy Store

(and there is a free gift with purchase this month!)

You can find lots ore anazing samples for the challenge

and all the deets at

NOW, onto some other pieces I made with the

new products:

This last sample was really easy to make.
(well, actually, they ALL were,
with the help of the gorgeous
Gecko Galz images I used)

The background is the Kimono paper from the Zen Garden paper set.
Place the egg from the Holiday Icons set on top of a paper from
the Easter Parade Paper set.
Mask that combination with a photo mask
(from Amanda Sok)
Place over top of the background paper.
Place the blue and yellow image from
the Holiday Icon set over top of that.
Add your own word art, using
a font you like and a style you like.
(I used the Adobe Caslon Pro Italic font
and a black glitter style by
Microferk.)
Place a line of stitching around the edges
in a blue which matches your images.

But above all,
make sure you have FUN with it!

Hearts and Kisses

I know, I know, Valentine\s Day has come and gone, but

I ask you,

Is there really anytime that isn't a perfect time

for Hearts and Kisses?

I created some pieces using the 

newest products in the

Gecko Gal Etsy Shop

Three ATC's:

A lovey-dovey Card:

PLUS,  I have a  romantic digital stamp for you;
All you need to do is right-click and save it to your  computer!

Here is a little something I made with it:

This was SO easy to make!
You need some kind of photo-editing program.
I use PSE 14

Create a blank document.
Place the stamp over the Flower Song paper from the
Garden Symphony Pak

Change the blending mode to overlay.

I added an edge overlay by Tracy Martin.

I picked up the red colour from the border
using the eyedropper tool and
 and painted some of the red squares with a basic brush using
that red.

Finished it off with some Wordart from the Gecko Galz
In Other Words digital stamp set.

Voila!

I got my computer back home and it crashed again.

Hard drive failed.

So I have been without it for three weeks.
