place it over top of my background paper.
I add wordart, maybe a border, may an embellie.
Someimjtes I will apply a style to my image for
different effects.
And I am done!

Love Is In The Air

Welcome to 2019!
And congratulations on
surviving 2018!
It was quite the ride!

And of course a new year means
a new month and that means
a brand new challenge at

You know the deal with our
Monthly Customer Challenges

You know you only
need to use at least one Gecko Galz product
to participate in the challenge.
That is the only hard part of it.
Using only
ONE product!
You can find all the deets on the

(including the fact that YOU
could be the winner of a $25.00 shopping spree
by linking up to our challenge!)

Not only that, you will find an
amazing selection of art from our
talented Design Team for this
month's theme.

Here is my little project to help get you
pointed in the right direction:

The bottom layer is a plain black paper I made,
The next layer is a paper from the Gatsby paper pak.
Then over that, another paper from the Gatsby paper pak.
I applied a reverse bevel to that.
The main image is from the
Isn't It Romantic collage sheet set.
I applied a black stroke to that.
Added the word, some stitching and two feathers,
all of which are from my digi-stash.

And it's done!

Now it's YOUR turn.

We look forward to seeing what you create for our
Love Stories Challenge.

And thanks for coming by!

Happy New Year!

Deck The Halls

Have you finished your decorating yet for Christmas?
Have you done all your baking?
Are you ready to sit for a while and make
something magical with any of the
Gecko Galz Christmas Craft kits/papers/collage sheets/digital stamps?

Each year I make a 12x12 digital piece and display it on my mantle.
Here is this year's:
I love Norman Rockwell, don't you?
Especially at Christmas.

For this one I used these Gecko Galz products:
Christmas Days Gone By Collage Sheet
Victorian Christmas paper pak
Christmas Dreams Craft Kit
a free image from last Christmas (the ribbon banner)

All of these products and more can be found at the

Here is a shot of my mantle:
Hmm, it looks like my quilt is crooked. :-(

And here are a few closeups:

I added some Glossy Accents, Perfect Pearls and
stick-on dollar-store ornaments at the top
and trees at the bottom.

And that's a wrap!

Speaking of wrap, are all your gifts wrapped?
No?  Well, what are you doing here?
Go, get busy!

It can be one of the free products, stamps, collage images, or digital papers!!  It is up to you!!
The winner will receive a $25 Gecko Galz Shopping Spree

Here is the piece I made for this challenge
The Gecko Galz products I used for this are
First Class Passage Paper Pak
(for the background)
From Russia With Love
Collage Sheet
(the Queen)
and Charming Words Collage Sheet
I embellished it with a couple of border overlays and
and the key and little diamond piece behind
the wordart, from the
Czarina Craft kit.
(which is lovely)

As always, everything is just cropped to size and layered,
one on top of the other.

I am going to print this out
and use it for the top of a
Christmas card.

You know of course that you can get these
Gecko Galz products from the

Very Merry Designs

Today is my day
to be featured on the

So I was in the mood to make
some ATC's rather than my
usual digital samples
I printed out the papers and images
and used them for my ATC's.
All of the backgrounds are from the
Dashing Through the Snow
paper pak
 and all of the images
are from the
Christmas Tangles digital stamp set.
I sized them out in
Photoshop Elements, printed them and
coloured them with markers.
I actually use this stamp set a lot.
It's one of my favorites.

and then I finished them off with
stuff from my
Christmas stash.
Be sure to check out these and the
many other
awesome Christmas goodies at

You will have SO
much fun with them!
