Spring is almost here!

except that it seems to keep snowing where I live.  😩

But no mind,
you know that this month's theme at
Garden Bliss already, right?
And you have linked your piece up for the
customer challenge on the
Gecko Galz blog, right?

Having said that, I have a couple more pieces
that I made for this month's Garden Bliss theme:

Gecko Galz products used:
In The Garden Collage Sheets
St Peters background paper
Beautiful Borders frame
In Other Words digital Stamp Set

Gecko Galz products used:
In The Garden Collage Collage Sheets
Flower Power background paper
Scripted Collage Sheet Set

As always, my digital pieces are all about layering.
I crop the image I want from the collage sheet set.
Either I place a frame around it or add a style, like
I did in my second piece.
(in this case, a bevel style)
Add some wordart, either with a digital stamp,
or crop what you want from a collage sheet

Then add some kind of border from your stash,
or free brushwork, or whatever you like.

(You know you have a huge stash, just like me😊

And you are done!

You still have time to link up for this month's
customer challenge, so if you haven't already,
get busy!
The challenge for the month ends at
the end of the month and the only requirement
is that you use at least one
Gecko Galz product.
How easy-peasey is that?

Don't forget, all of these
lovely products are available at

Paris In Springtime

Isn't springtime lovely?
And wouldn't springtime in Paris be even lovelier?
One can dream.
Or, one can just create dreamy
projects in this month's theme at
using some of the yummy prodects in the

I made four projects this month,
just because I love both the theme
and the products available!

 Gecko Galz products used:
Love Potion #9 paper pak
Parisian Gardens craft kit (icons and paper)

 Gecko Galz products used:
Parisian Gardens craft kit (Marie, frame, tag)
Coquette craft kit (hot pink icon)
 Gecko Galz products used:
Que Sera Sera paper pak
Pastoral Beauty collage Sheet set
French Connection digital stamp set
Gecko Galz products used:
Magnolia Blossoms paper pak
Parisian Garden craft kit (Marie)
C'est La Vie paper pak
French Connection digital stamp set
In Other Words digital stamp set

If you have been here before,
you know how I do my digital pieces.
The process is always very simple and always the same:

I just layer one piece over top of another, using
a photo mask, or the magic wand tool
to remove the background and add
a style of two and a few
little embellishments from my (VAST) stash. lol

If you would like more explicit instructions,
just leave me a comment, with your email addy
and I will get in touch with you!

Having said all this, I do
want to mention that
(seeing as how I LOVE Marie Antoinette)
there in a new collage sheet set in the
Etsy Shop called
Viva Marie
and the images are GLORIOUS!!
Be sure to check them out.

And don't forget about this month's
customer challenge-
you still have a few days left!

Just be sure to use a minimum of
one Gecko Galz item and link your
project up to the blog
before March 31, 2018.

You can still be eligible to win a
$25.00 Gecko Galz shopping spree!!

Thanks for coming by
and enjoy your spring, no matter
where you are!

Paris In Springtime

It's a new month and that means a brand new
customer challenge at

You're going to play along with us, right?
The only rule is that you must use at least one Gecko Galz product!
And you can find all sorts of them
HERE

And the winner will receive a
$25.00 Geck Galz Shopping Spree!

This is what I made for you to help you get started:

The background paper is from the
Courtly Love paper pak, and over that I placed a paper from
the C'est La Vie paper pak.
Aren't they pretty?
I added a pink stroke to the top paper and
applied a bevel style to the same paper to make it
look like it is kind of "in a window frame "
of the background paper. Then I
added one more rose from the Coquette Craft kit.
I cropped the image of Marie Antoinette from
the Viva Marie Collage Sheet set
and extracted it using the magic wand tool.
She looked like she needed a date.
So I gave her the handsome gentleman from
the Parisian Garden Craft kit.
finished it off with wordart from the
All You Need is Love digital stamp set.

Finally, I added a free brush
from Brusheezy across the bottom.
And Voila!

(That's French, by the way)

Did you have a good Valentine's Day?
And are you getting ready for the next holiday
St Paddy's Day?
I've been putting on the green this month and

And I used the Collage Sheet set

and for the third,
Courtly Love and Coquette paper paks
Le Boheme icons from the
Le Bohome Craft kit

You guys all know by now if you have been here before

Puttin' On The Green

Welcome to February, friends!
It is time for a new month and
a new customer challenge at

Feel free to grab our badge, and share on your blogs.

You know how all the members
of the Gecko Galz Design Team make
a sample for you to see at the
start of each new challenge?
Well, mine uses the same image as our challenge badge!lolol
It's obviously such a great image!

It's from the collage sheet set
Visions in Green

This is a digital piece.
I cropped the image of the lovely lady in green
from the collage sheet
and clipped it to a simple photo mask that I made myself.

I placed that over the All Zen paper from the
graphical paper pak.
(one of my favourite paper paks)

I placed that over a paper from the
Courtly Love paper Pak and applied a
reverse bevel

And we're done!
How easy was that?

Remember, you are not limited to
making digital creations in any way.

Good old scissors and glue and you are
off to the races with these gorgeous products.
And you need to do is print them out from your computer
and take it from there.

So whether digital or "hands on",
we are looking forward to your
creation for Putting on the Green.

There is only one rule, and that is you need to use at least ONE  product from
It can be one of the free products, stamps, collage images, or digital papers!!
It is up to you!!

The winner will receive a $25 Gecko Galz Shopping Spree

See you there!

The month of Courtly Love

Today is my turn to be featured on the Gecko Galz Blog
for this month's theme of
Courtly Love.
Isn't that a lovely theme to
start the new year with?
I made three digital projects using the new
Vintage Flirtations Collage Sheet Set.

#1

 #2

#3

(I use Photoshop Elements 13)

For all three, I cropped the individual
image that I wanted and applied a photo mask.
(I used Amanda Sok masks)
Then I placed the image over one of the
Gecko Galz Paper Paks.
(The first two used papers from the
Courtly Love Paper Pak, the second has
a background paper from the
St. Peter's Square Paper Pak

Then I overlaid a frame/border:

First sample:
frame from
Gecko Galz Fab Frames College Sheet Set
Finecrafted Designs border over that

Second Sample:
frame from
Gecko Galz Fab Frames College Sheet Set
overlay by Vinnie Pearce over that

Third Sample:
Border lace overlay by Brandy Murray

To finish them off:

1. Wordart by Gecko Galz
All You Need Is Love digital Stamp Set
set to Multiply blend

2. Just the word,
"Mesmerized"
in a porcelain regular font
and a flourish brush by Amanda Sok.

3. Wordart by Gecko Galz
from the "In Other Words"
digital stamp set
and a flourish brush by Amanda Sok.

And that's it!

I am happy to have any questions you may have,
just leave me a comment.

And make sure you check out these
gorgeous new products
(and tons of other glorious goodies)
and more wonderful samples from
the rest of the design team members at
the Gecko Galz blog here

Thanks for coming by and
I will see you over there!

Courtly Love

Happy New Year Peeps!
Are you ready for a new challenge?

Courtly Love

You're going to play along with us, right?
The only rule is that you must use at least one Gecko Galz product!
And you can find all sorts of them

This is what I made for you to help you get started:
I used the Crazy Animals collage sheet

The winner will receive a $25 Gecko Galz Shopping Spree !

This was so easy to make.

I cropped the image I wanted out
of the Crazy Animals Collage Sheet

Then I placed it over that pretty paper
from the Love Potion #9 Paper Pak
and erased the background.
I framed the picture of
the Lovebirds with a glitter
overlay by Finecrafted Designs.
I put that concoction over
a pink background paper I had in my
digital stash.
On a new layer I made some frilly white
stamps with a brush and I
applied a bevel style to them
for some texture.

To finish it off I added a heart by Pink Lotty,
a frame from my stash,
and the word "Love" in white,
using the text tool.
DONE!

Be sure to check out the samples
from the rest of the design team on the
