A Very Vibrant Christmas!

When I saw that this was the theme at

Then I fell in love with the sketch challenge at
So I did a two-for.

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

Check these challenge blogs out, they are both wonderful!

See you there!

Vintage

This week's theme at
The Three Muses is
Vintage
and I kind of went overboard.
I know, I know, get a grip, Electra.

But it's such a fun theme.

Hope to see you there, have a funny day!

Challenge #203 - Need a Little Vacation?

Today Poobah Deena has invited us to create something with the theme
"Warm Weather or Vacation" in mind, over at

That's because as we speak she is laying in the sun
somewhere other than her hometown WINTERPEG,
which is suffering from the dreaded typical brittley-cold
Canadian Winter.
(Lucky woman)
I pulled out some pics from my trip last year to Kawaai,
which was in truth,
a disappointment from start to finish due to a
rare monsoon that hit the day I was there.

The good news is, in 48,
(count 'em, 48!)
days I return.
Hah!
So it was good to go through my album and get
psyched up.

These pics were taken on (and above) the island of Ohau,
I should mention, just in case you think
I don't know what a monsoon is
and am complaining unjustifiably.

This was the GOOD part of that trip.

We hope you fly over to join in our challenge at
You have until March 7th
to link up your warm weather projects with us in the comments.

We look forward to seeing what you create!

Pieces of Pictures

This week the incredibly talented Deann is hosting
ans she has given us the challenge of
creating a postcard with the theme of
PIECES OF PICTURES
YOu will want to see her inspiratio piece, her art is
AMAZING!
I did a collage of some photos I used for the
Weekend Reflections blog,
that I used to participate in.
Obsiously, their challenge was to photograph
a reflection each weekend.
Just do not have the time any more.  :-(
credits for the non-photo elements:
Maya de Groot, Amanda Sok, Joanne Brisbois.

Check it out!

Circles

This week's theme at  Use Your Stuff is
CIRCLES

I can do that.
I love circles.
I actually love this photo too.

Have a funny day.
Unless you have other plans.

Thanks for stopping by!
Electra, over and out.

Goddess

The theme for the week at Collage Obsession is
Goddess.
And I just happen to have the perfect piece for this theme,
sitting on my mantle.
I used a Gecko Galz digital stamp image,
spent some lively relaxing time colouring it and then put in on a
sprayed, stencilled background, along with word art by
Kimeric Creations and some stencilled Inka Gold
(and assorted bling from my bling drawer)
I finished it off with a die cut by Timmie.
I LOVED making this and I love that now I have a reason to show you!

Oh yeah, I stitched around the edges too.

Thanks for coming by!

Bee (sort of)

The current challenge at
HONEYBEE

I have been playing with my new
Gelli Plates all day
(and having a marvelous time, I must say)
and I made something, but to tell you the honest truth,
I think it is a fly, maybe not so much a bee.

But I made a trail of yellowish dust, which quite
conceivably could be he stripes falling off.
Maybe it's cold.
Maybe it's the apocalypse.
Who knows.

Anyways...
The bee is by Sissy Sparrows, and
I am sorry, I don't know where I got the
Wordart.

Thanks for coming by!

Cat

This is for my beloved

The theme for the week is CAT
I'm so glad a friend encouraged me to get
re-involed with DW.
