Hah!  I found time to make something!
It's for this week at

Thanks for stopping by!

Another Awesome Tag of Christmas!

Hey, it's Electra,
back with another Ho Ho Ho tag for you
using luscious holiday products from

This one is totally digital.
But REALLY easy!

I cropped the Reindeer image from the
Reindeer Games  collage sheet.
Then I made a tag shape out of a paper from
A Magical Christmas kit
by Studio Flergs.
I placed the reindeer over top of the tag,
and erased everything I didn't want
from around the reindeer.
I placed a couple of ornaments behind the reindeer.
Then I added a new layer over top
of the reindeer and painted wherever I had the
urge to paint, using the eyedropper tool,
to match the colours to the Christmas ornaments.
I also used a "fireworks" brush tool
over top, with the same bright colours.
Then I topped it off with a few more ornaments
hung from her (his?) antlers.
I gave the reindeer bright blue eyes.
A bow finished the whole
thing off!

(The ornaments and bow were also from A Magical Christmas kit by Studio Flergs.)

And now you have a digital tag that you can
print off and use on a card,
or as a gift tag!

How are your preparations going for the upcoming holiday?
Are you feeling stressed?
You know, a great way to de-stress is to make art.
Just pour yourself a cuppa whatever it is
that helps you relax and make something fun.

That's what I do anyways.
And it works for me.
Make time for yourself.
You deserve it.

And have fun, what ever you are doing!

Thanks for stopping by today!

One Horse Open Sleigh

(thanks for the nudge, Patti)

It's a busy time for me!
Not because it's Christmas. That's the easy part,
but because a couple of other women and I are on a mission to open
an Emergency Women's Shelter in our town.
We have no land, no building, a little money
and a lot of determination.
sigh.
But we are going full force to raise awareness
AND have created our Non-Profit Society.
Even though you may not live where we do,
it would sure to great if you could like and share our Facebook page.
That's of course, if you think this is a good thing
that we are doing.
In one week, we have gotten 309 likes.

Thanks, friends, I really appreciate your help!
hugs from Electra

Gecko Galz Awesome Tags of Christmas!

Welcome to the Awesome Tags of Christmas celebration
courtesy of Gecko Galz !
It's my turn to show you my tags....

Are you on the Naughty or the Nice list?

for this tag, I printed out a rectangle of the
paper from the Merry and Bright Paper Pak.
I cut it out in a tag shape the size I wanted.
I edged it with some Peacock Distress Ink.
Then I printed out and fussy-cut the lady from the
Holiday Ladies Collage Sheet Set
Place over the background whatever embellies
you have laying around.
In this case I used a piece of ribbon
from the Dollar Store,
a piece of stick-on bling from Mikey's and an
acetate paisley thingie I honestly think
I have had for about 10 years.
I put the lady over top of those items.
I blinged her up with stickles on her dress,
lips and tree hat (!?!)
and gave her bling dot earrings.
A sentiment from another embellie from Mikey's...
I punched a hole in the top and threaded some ribbon
through it that was leftover from one of last year's
Christmas gifts,
and it's done!

Oh yeah, this is really important:
Sing Jingle Bells while you make your tag.

See how easy that was!?
And a great way to use up bits and bobs
of Christmas stuff that you have in your stash!

Each tag was created in the same way.
Print out a background paper of your choice using any of
your favourite Gecko Galz Paper Paks.
Print and cut out any image that makes you smile
using any of the Gecko Galz Collage Sheets.
And pull out your Christmas stash and
decorate to your little heart's content.

Singing Jingle Bells while you make your tag, of course,

And the best part of all is that
you can pick from oodles of yummy

Snowmen

I haven't been participating in any challenges lately.
And I have been neglecting my blog.
That's not to say, mind you, that I am not making art,
cus I am.
But I guess all artists go through phases
and right now I am scrapbooking my little heart out
with photos of my gorgeous grandkids.
And my other photography.
Here are a couple of examples to prove that I really AM.

Now I realize it's super boring looking at pictures
of someone else's grandkids, so
I will get to the real point of this post.

I forgot how MANY
digital elements I have.
Good grief!
But in this case I give credits to Eena's Creation, Rucola Designs, Just So Scrappy, Pink Lotty and Lefkoi Lykoi

What fun!
I may have to get back at this for the Christmas season!

See you soon, probably.
And thanks if you stopped by!

December Customer Challenge

It's time for a brand new customer challenge
for a brand new month at
Yesiree!!

AND
it's the 12-Days of Christmas Tags
this month too!

I made you a totally digital tag.
I cropped the Reindeer image from the
Reindeer Games  collage sheet.
Then I made a tag shape out of a paper from
A Magical Christmas kit
by Studio Flergs.
I placed the reindeer over top of the tag,
and erased everything I didn't want
from around the reindeer.
I placed a couple of ornaments behind the reindeer.
Then I added a new layer over top
of the reindeer and painted wherever I had the
urge to paint, using the eyedropper tool,
to match the colours to the Christmas ornaments.
I also used a "fireworks" brush tool
over top, with the same bright colours.
Then I topped it off with a few more ornaments
hung from her (his?) antlers.
A bow finished the whole
thing off!

(The ornaments and bow were also from
A Magical Christmas kit by Studio Flergs.)
And you have a digital tag that you can
print off and use on a card,
or as a gift tag!

Isn't that special?

Now get busy and start on
your Christmas projects (if you haven't already)
