Paris In Springtime

It's a new month and that means a brand new 

customer challenge at

Gecko Galz Scrapbooking!!

You're going to play along with us, right?

The only rule is that you must use at least one Gecko Galz product!

This is what I made for you to help you get started:

The background paper is from the 

Courtly Love paper pak, and over that I placed a paper from

the C'est La Vie paper pak.

Aren't they pretty?

I added a pink stroke to the top paper and

applied a bevel style to the same paper to make it

look like it is kind of "in a window frame "

of the background paper. Then I

added one more rose from the Coquette Craft kit.

I cropped the image of Marie Antoinette from

the Viva Marie Collage Sheet set

and extracted it using the magic wand tool.

She looked like she needed a date.

So I gave her the handsome gentleman from

the Parisian Garden Craft kit.

finished it off with wordart from the

All You Need is Love digital stamp set.

Finally, I added a free brush
from Brusheezy across the bottom.

And Voila!

(That's French, by the way)

Visions In Green

How has your month been so far?

Did you have a good Valentine's Day?

And are you getting ready for the next holiday

St Paddy's Day?

I've been putting on the green this month and

made a few pieces to get you thinking in 

GREEN!

 And I used the Collage Sheet set

Vision In Green to make them all.

that my digital creations are very simple.

I just layer one piece over top of another and add

little embellishments from my (VAST) stash. lol

If you have photo editing software, 

you will know how easy it is.

And it is made every so easy by the

gorgeous designs from the 

Gecko Galz Etsy shop!

Puttin' On The Green

Welcome to February, friends!

It is time for a new month and

a new customer challenge at

Gecko Galz

Feel free to grab our badge, and share on your blogs.

You know how all the members

of the Gecko Galz Design Team make

a sample for you to see at the

start of each new challenge?

Well, mine uses the same image as our challenge badge!lolol

It's obviously such a great image!

It's from the collage sheet set

Visions in Green

This is a digital piece.

I cropped the image of the lovely lady in green

from the collage sheet

and clipped it to a simple photo mask that I made myself.

I placed that over the All Zen paper from the

graphical paper pak.

(one of my favourite paper paks)

I placed that over a paper from the

Courtly Love paper Pak and applied a

reverse bevel

And we're done!

How easy was that?

Remember, you are not limited to

making digital creations in any way.

Good old scissors and glue and you are

off to the races with these gorgeous products.

And you need to do is print them out from your computer

and take it from there.

So whether digital or "hands on",

we are looking forward to your 

creation for Putting on the Green.

There is only one rule, and that is you need to use at least ONE  product from

 Gecko Galz!!  

It can be one of the free products, stamps, collage images, or digital papers!!  

It is up to you!!
