This is my kitchen countertop, and I'm having a UTEE orgy.
See the oven mitts?
I burnt my fingers a couple of minutes before I took this pic.
NOTE TO SELF: Do not put your fingers on the melted UTEE to see if it's hot.

I've not heard of UTEE, I'm assuming it's an oven baked clay? Looks fun.
ReplyDeleteI do that all the time, the touching things (usually food) to see if they are hot. You would think I would learn.
I have burnt my fingers so often I have actually lost feeling in the tips of them I think ... looks like you are having fun xx
ReplyDeleteHow many times do we still put fingers in the UTEE even though we know we will burn them? Looks like you were having fun.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely crafty week.

I thought I would stop by for a short visit before I went to bed. I've burned my fingers on UTEE and also my glue gun. I see we both have one of those UTEE pots. Happy WOWW from #4.
ReplyDeleteOuch, no you shouldn't put your fingers in the UTEE!! Like what you're doing though... Helen at #1
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a science lab!! You've obviously been having great fun creating :) What are you going to use the end result for??

That looks like fun, not the burning of your fingers, the playing with UTEE :) I've not got a melting pot yet but have used UTEE. Hot glue has the same painful affect. Have a great week - just resist the temptation to test the UTEE with your fingers :) Elizabeth x #76
ReplyDeleteouch... I know that feeling... have done that too many times lol Have fun! Hels #57
ReplyDeleteA real fun product but oh so spiteful when hot...take care and have a creative party! Thanks for the peek! Sarah at 14.
ReplyDeleteAha, we learn by our mistakes = still now you have a lovely moulded piece of UTEE that's personally fingerprinted by the artist! I like how the open draw doubles as another surface....genius!
ReplyDeletelol, love the melting pot.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peek and sharing. Hope you are having a wonderful WOYWW.
xoxo Marjo
Hope your fingers are recovering. Next time you get that stuff out, make sure you have plenty of ice on hand to quell the pain.
ReplyDeleteI love playing with UTEE, but confess that I've had burnt fingers in the past - hope yours aren't too sore (Hazel WOYWW #89) x
