Thanks for stopping by.
I have my daughter and her fiance and the little one here
and I managed to escape into my studio for a few minutes.
My reprieve is over though...

  1. This piece is so sad.
I hope it is not how you're felling today.

  4. No wonder they're looking a bit miserable - who turned the light out? Perhaps their hats are feeling heavy. I love the background to their photo. This one gave me a good smile to cheer up my day. Thanks Electra.

  5. I like the quote; great way to make light (no pun intended) of difficulties. Love your images and the color on the hats!

  6. Now, this is a true collage - a piece of artwork!

I read this and laughed. Then I saw the first comment about how sad it was. Yes, the children have rather unhappy looking faces, but that used to be a way to pose. No one was supposed to smile. But, philosophically, it might be sad. Isn't everyone always saying: There's light at the end of the tunnel - a message of hope. At first I thought this was really funny, but now I must go ponder. Still funny :)

I love the hats and bows. The background is wonderful - musical staffs, a photograph, the word Sweet, and how the colors tie in with the hats.

  7. I like what you did.
But I don't think it's funny al all!
Because of the economical crisis a growing amount of people will be feeling like this in real life.
