Steampunk Autumn

Welcome to September at

I used the following Gecko Galz products
for this piece:

Curiosity Shop, In Marble Halls &Timeless paper paks
Vintage Spring Craft Kit
Industrial Age digital stamp set
Mechanics of Life Collage Sheet Set

As with everything I do digitally, this is simply
layer upon layer.

I painted the bird blue, making a separate layer behind
the digital stamp.
The angel was from the
Mechanics of Life Collage Sheet Set
on Multiply blend mode.

The rest of the elements are from my stash.
I have a big stash of steampunky stuff. lol

So here are the layers, starting with the background:

Timeless paper

Top hat and my stash elements
Border made from my own black overlay used
as a mask with a paper from the
In Marble Halls paper pak
Postcard from the Vintage Spring craft kit
Another paper from In Marble Halls
Industrial Age digital stamp over a
paper from the Curiosity Shop paper pak
A second
Industrial Age digital stamp over a
paper from the Curiosity Shop paper pak
Hardware from my stash
Wings from my stash
And finally,
I finished it all off with additional
Steampunky elements from my stash.

TA DA!!!!

To tell you the truth,
it was more work writing all of this out
than it was making the darn thing! lolol

  1. I love your Time Machine deco! I have the Industrial Age stamp set and need to see samples using it...Steampunk is hard for me. I'm a touchy feely non-digital (well, hybrid at best) artist, but your work is gorgeous and instructive. Thank you and more please! :-))) xoxo
