Gecko Galz Fall, Into Autumn

Is it beautiful where you live?
It is here.
Mind you, this is my most favorite month.
Glorious Autumn.
I made some samples to help get your creative juices flowing,
using Gecko Galz products:

These were all done digitally, using images from
the Autumn Magic Digital Stamp Set.
I just painted them.
(That's why there are kind of messy. lol)
and a few ATC's:

These ATC's we so easy.
I printed out background papers from the
Gypsy Market paper pak.
I used a flourish stamp
(sorry, it's so old, I could not tell you who it's by
even if my life depended on it.
I embossed the flourish using
Ranger Gold Embossing Powder
 I printed out images from
the beautiful Autumn Magic digital stamp set
and coloured them with various Ranger Distress inks:
Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge, Shabby Shutters, and
Orange Marmalade.
Then I just looked in my box of treasures which never seems to
get any smaller
and embellished them just the way I wanted to.
Pop dots for the image and
there you go!
Autumn ATC's!
You can make any thing  at all with images
and papers from the
But you already know that don't you?

You also know that each month all the
DT members have a free stamp for you, right?
Here is this month's from me:
Here is an example I did for you.
I just printed it out on cardstock and coloured it to make an ATC.

And don't forget to enter the
Fall Into Autumn
Customer Challenge
for the month of October.

and to wrap up,
here is my sample for the customer challenge:

it's all out of my Halloween box.

The raven and pennant are by Jolee's Embellishment.
The Trick or Treat is by Tim Holtz.
The rest is likely from the after Halloween sale-bin at
Michaels.

Check it out!!

Pink Christmas

Each year in October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Stephanie and Lauren
at
host a challenge where they ask everyone to make holiday cards that are,
(as the title suggests, lol) *PINK*... and then
they each donate $2 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation
for each card that gets linked up.
Even though I don't often get to link up with them
and make too many cards,
I wouldn't miss this for anything.
I made a few pink cards for the cause:

You have until October 19th,
plenty of time to get in on
Pink Christmas too!
Get all the deets HERE

And Link Pink
for the cause!

See ya over there!

The Witching Hour at Gecko Galz

well, not yet.
But soon!
And I have created some Halloween projects
to get you feeling spooky and inspired!

Every day at
you will find excellent sources of inspiration from
our talented Design Team, PLUS
each day there is a free digital stamp for you,
 this month in Halloween themes,
so you can get started on all your
hauntingly good projects!

All of my projects use spooky Halloween
elements and papers from the
Gecko Galz Etsy Shop

I can tell you how I made this  next one:

The background paper is from the Arsenic and Old Lace Paper Pak.
Over that place stamps from the Nevermore Digital Stamp Set
and change the blending mode of each to
Multiply.
Over that add wordart from the
Arsenic and Old Lace Icon Set,
colouring it red and applying a simple inner bevel style.
Add a brush splatter at the top in the same blood-red.
Apply the same bevel to that as well.
And you are done!

Speaking of free stamps, here is yours for the month:
And here is what I did with it:
Just in case you're not spookified enough yet...

Be afraid.
Be vewy afraid.
