What do I see out my window? It varies, from day to day, sometimes moment to moment.
The year I came to thia city, from an island where snow was a rarity, we had 40 degrees below zero and 25 degrees above in the span of a few weeks. so as much as we complain about the weather, wait five minutes. It'll change. tonight it's clear, not too awfully cold and the stars go on forever. Pretty good.
I would like to see stars that go on forever, but we have so much cloud cover that it is relatively rare to have a clear night, and then I would have to REMEMBER to go out and look when it's dark.
ReplyDeleteI think the lesson for me here is I'm not paying enough attention to nature and just being in it!
I would have gone downstairs and got the sheets, in fact the thought of not getting them wouldn't have entered my head, but for a totally different reason. I wouldn't have slept well without them. And I like my sleep!
You have made some mighty fine layouts this last month :-)
I'm sorry you haven't had the right weather for a good autumn show on the trees; it has been very pretty in my neck of the woods.
I do enjoy the autumn show, but it also makes me sad because I dislike the winter so much and detest the days when the sun sets at 4.30 in the afternoon! Thank goodness for crafting and I'm looking forward to spending many winter evenings playing with paint, paper and glue and making up stories for the land of Shiny.
love

P.S. Your new blog sidebars etc look splendid!
I giggled when I saw this. I think it is very clever. Thanks for playing with us at Opus Gluei.
