Our good friend, Poobah Gini, has given us a luscious
colour challenge for the coming fortnight over at
Red, Turquoise, Black and White.
Now if you can't make something spectacular out of that, I don't know what to say.
You could make something Halloween-y, like, say,
a turquoise witch, a red scarecrow, a white ghost
(thought that one up by myself)
and a black cat....
(that one too)
C'mon, you know you want to.
You have until October 14th to create something fun.
Thanks to Berna Datema, Cemerony, Amanda Frijo-Tobin, Sausan Designs,
Holliewood Studios, and Jo Corne for the use of their elements.
A fabulous layout Electra, I love everything about it! The checkerboard background you've used is truly inspired and it really makes the turquoise and red pop and rock - ha!
ReplyDeleteTommy and his friend, Little Red are just the cutest birdies.
We've all shown was an amazing colour scheme this is, I'm so chuffed and tickle pink or should that be tickled turquoise and red!

I'm loving the composition here, Electra, and it makes me happy looking at it - who wouldn't be with Love and Cherish in it? The birdies are in a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteLove how you interpreted this and your use of the colors - very vibrant and rich.
Love these owlies. You have made this color combo look so easy. I had a hard time of it. But finally got mine done and up.
