The theme for the week at Collage Obsession is
Goddess.
And I just happen to have the perfect piece for this theme,
sitting on my mantle.
I used a Gecko Galz digital stamp image,
spent some lively relaxing time colouring it and then put in on a
sprayed, stencilled background, along with word art by
Kimeric Creations and some stencilled Inka Gold
(and assorted bling from my bling drawer)
I finished it off with a die cut by Timmie.
I LOVED making this and I love that now I have a reason to show you!
Oh yeah, I stitched around the edges too.
Thanks for coming by!

ReplyDeletegorgeous! love the stained glass feel! xo
ReplyDeletegorgeous and so colorful:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful colors with a stained glass appeal!
ReplyDeleteIs this real colouring in? Do you colour in a digital stamp with real pencils?
ReplyDeleteThat's a terrific circular background with pointed edges, is it fussy cut with real scissors?
I'm fascinated by this, and he's got a real brooch (I think).
And there are lot of shiny sequins and things too.
And there's stitching - gaaahh!
I love this, all of it, superb design and colours and lots of detail.
I used a stencil for the circle and sprayed it with inks. The goddess is coloured with tombow markers and I did cut around the edge with scissors. The "brooch" is a sequin and yes, I stitched with the machine, some circles. Thanks Sheila for your kind words!
