CCC #17

CCC stands for Compendium of Curiosities
Get up off the couch and walk over to
Studio L3 and see what it's all about.
No, wait, that won't work.  OKAY, I take that back, just click on the link and you'll get there.  Not only is there the Compendium of Curiosities Challenges, there are pictures of hungry kitty-cats, Warrior Women celebrations and all sorts of other cool stuff.
But today we are talking about Week 17 of CCC. (I can't type the full name out one more time, it's just too much work.  lol)

Here's mine for Mr. H's Fragment Charms Technique:

"But this isn't a necklace, or a bracelet, or anything of that sort!", you cry.
How can this be about a Frament charm????
Well, if you know me at all, you'll have figured out that when I do things, I tend to do them a tad obsessively.
I was a quilter until I ran out of room to store my quilts.
I made jewelry too, for quite a while, and now I have oh, maybe 50 beaded bracelets and even more necklaces.
I cannot make any more jewelry.
SO, if you look closely at the young man's belly, you'll see that yes indeedy folks, it IS a fragment charm.
So there.
The young man is from  http://www.lisasalteredart.com/index.htm.
The background is made from some Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland paper that has been embossed and rubbed with some old metal paste that I've had for eons. The orange tag was drawn by my friend Lisa from

You Know How I Roll.
The Spooky stamp, brad and clock rub-on are from my file cabinet.  tee hee.
and the beads?  I told you what I used to do, didn't I?
Nuff said.
C'mon join us in the Challenges.
Linda will let you.

  1. Alright, first, I love this piece! Funky and beautiful and creepy, too!

Second, just how in the hell did you get all of those beads to stick without a pool of visible glue?
