Weekend Reflections

The Witching Hour at Gecko Galz

well, not yet.

But soon!

And I have created some Halloween projects

to get you feeling spooky and inspired!

Every day at

Gecko Galz

you will find excellent sources of inspiration from

each day there is a free digital stamp for you,

 this month in Halloween themes,

so you can get started on all your 

hauntingly good projects!

 All of my projects use spooky Halloween

elements and papers from the

Gecko Galz Etsy Shop

I can tell you how I made this  next one:

The background paper is from the Arsenic and Old Lace Paper Pak.

Over that place stamps from the Nevermore Digital Stamp Set 

and change the blending mode of each to

Multiply.

Over that add wordart from the 

Arsenic and Old Lace Icon Set,

colouring it red and applying a simple inner bevel style.

Add a brush splatter at the top in the same blood-red.  

Apply the same bevel to that as well.

And you are done!

Monday's Mural

This is under the bridge in the town where I live. 

It's brightly painted, as it had to be redone after our 

horrendous flood a few years ago.

It's beautiful now, IMO.

I came upon this scene in Crowsnest Pass

on my last trip home from BC.

I never seem to get pics in this area as there is no

safe place to stop really. 

But they were doing some roadwork and EVERYONE was stopped.
