Lets Get Wordless!

My World Tuesday

HAHAHAHAHA!
JUST KIDDING!
this is what it really looks like:
The first is what it looked like a week ago.
The second was my drive up to where I am working this week.
I counted 17 vehicles in the ditch and one semi, destroyed.
So grateful for my 4x4.

Be safe, be warm, wherever you be.

Day of the Dead

It just so happens that the theme for both
Collage Obsession
and
Tag Along
this week is
DAY OF THE DEAD.
I used an embossing folder, die cut of the umbrella man,
alcohol inks to colour the flashing tape that I covered the tag with.
Flashing tape is by Home Depot.
The number
(and all the elements previously mentioned) are by Ranger.
Our lovely
Dias los Muertos
doll is by Xquizart

some kind of a
CREATURE on it.
The creatures are by Cajoline.
Can you hear them stirring?

What does your card look like?
See you there:

Challenge #168: Something for the Man in Your Life

Poobah Chat Noir at The Order of the Opus Gluei
is hosting our new challenge and it's a doozie:
Make something For the Man in Your Life.
I whipped something up real quick,
so that I could go out and find me a man to be in my life.

Naah, that's not true.
I love my life.
I work with 80 clients and
a team of 20 staff and all except one are men.
That's enough, thank you!
But then I got to thinking...
Hmmm, I'll leave the rest up to you.
You have until the end of Saturday, November 2
to link up with us.
There are all SORTS of things you can do with this challenge!
We'll be looking forward to seeing what you create!
(Credits for mine are Hidden Vintage Studios and Bluesse.)

Thanks for stopping by!

The Weekend In Black and White

This is a shot of a WWII bomber.
I've actually flown in some of the old Beechcraft and Otters and love them.

Pink Christmas - For the Cure

have invited us, through their awesome challenge blog,
to create a card which is
For every newly made holiday card that is
Pink
the Belles will donate $4.00 towards the
in support of finding a cure for breast cancer.
I made one:
using a beautiful image by The Graphics Fairy.
Also, I made a (partially) pink card for their last challenge,
but never got it posted in time.
I'm not sure if it will count, but here it is:

If you haven't played along with the
Jingle Belles Christmas card challenges yet,
now is the perfect time to start.
Make a Pink Card for the Cure and link up!

Wordless Wednesday

Let's get wordless!

Message in a Bottle

I made a card...
I'm not sure what the message is exactly.
I'll leave that to you...
Be safe tonight.
Hehhehehe...

Warning! Adult Content!

(or scary, at least)
I went to our annual Zombie Walk on the weekend.
I was early and so was a zombie, with his zombie children.
I asked him if I could take his photo
and he happily agreed.
As I was focusing, through the viewfinder,
I stared and lowered my camera and said
"Jesse?"
And it was a guy I've known for years!

The moral of the story is,
You never know what you're friends are doing when you're not around.
Meet Jesse:
He's my friend.
Sometimes dead is better.
Bwahahahahaaa!!!!

(PS.  He asked me to take his photo with his cellphone and it
was all covered with red sticky stuff.
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.)

This is for
Tuesday One World
I'll bet it's the only zombie you see.
(the only REAL one, at least)

Unlucky 13

Thanks for coming by.
See more unlucky 13's at

I just don't have enough Halloween stuff on here!

Weekend Reflection

This was an easy one.
I new the photo I wanted, drove over there,
parked and walked to the perfect (sort of) spot.
I couldn't get any closer, cus the entire area is still closed due to the flood.
I feel sad, the whole park was destroyed by our disaster,
and I would normally be there taking photos of the glorious fall foliage.
On the other hand, it's forced me to find other areas as spectacular.
If you would like to see my home in colour, check this out:

See you at

And thanks for taking the time to stop by!

The Weekend in Black and white

If there is anything this weekend is NOT,
it's Black and white.
Having said that, I love
and have no intention of missing out!

Thanks for your visit.

Black Cat

 for

I don't know why I didn't go crazy with a Halloween theme,
you'd think I would since I love it so much.
But this is what I ended up with.
Thanks for Lisa's Altered Art, Bluesse,
and Holliewood Studios for the elements.

Weekend Reflections

Weekend in Black and White

Maybe not the best photo, but I think Moose(s) are pretty cool.
Teenage moose especially, which is what this one is.

Unless of course you hit one with your truck.
That's bad.
Very bad.
And these evenings as I drive home, I am paying attention
very closely for yellow eyes along the sides of the highway.
There have been two vans smashed in by the side of the
road on the route home in the last week.
Folks don't survive those collisions.

But they sure are cool-looking animals.
It's like Creator just put all the leftover parts from
when he made all the other animals and
smooshed them together and got a moose.

You don't believe me?

Well, google moose images.  You will.

Have a funny day.
Unless of course, you have other plans.

Something Wicked This Way Comes

for this week's wicked
Bwahahahahahahaha!
See you at

Sky for Photo Art Friday

This is for the monthly challenge at
The theme is SKY:
The photo is my own, I've added two textures by
Bonnie Zeiman,
"Serve Life" and "You Framed Me".
I love her textures.

Thanks for coming by.
Counting the days until the weekend is here....

My Dream View

for this week's
If I could be anywhere but here right now,
I would love to be on the east side of Canada,
in Nova Scotia, where the autumn colours are so spectacular,
they actually have a "Leaf Watch" report
that lets you know what the colours are when.
How cool is that?
It's on my bucket list.
It is NOT cheap to fly to the other side of Canada.
But one day...

Elements used are by Bonnie Zeiman, Cryztal Rain,
Angela Chang, Doris Castle.
Image is downloaded from the 'Net.
Thanks for coming by, see you at

Patchwork Quilt

This month's challenge theme at
Patchwork Quilts/Multi-Colours

What fun!
I have oodles of quilts around my home, cus I used to
be a quilter, but I've also been wanting to do a LO
with some tiny replicas on my digital art.
And I had a plan in my head.

It just seems like a shame sometimes
to have all my lovely little piecs of art,
 just sitting on the puter
where no one ever sees 'em.
It's kind of a quilt, right?

I hope you will link up with us, you have a whole month to do so!
Right up until Saturday, November 2nd, to join in!
We look forward to seeing your projects!
