Jingle Belles

This is for JIngle Belles
and it's pink.
I don't know what's up with that.
The last Christmas card I made was pink.
Will the next one be pink too?
Am I being defiant or something?
Who knows.
C'mon, play along, it's easy.  And it's fun.
And it's Christmas!
Oops. no it isn't.
Just because it is
minus 38 degrees
(that's 38 degrees below zero for those who are not accustomed to
 this sort of weather-related ridiculousness)
Well, it could be Christmas.
Don't you agree?

  1. I say if pink calls you ... heed the call ... especially if the cards turn out this cool ... love that sentiment ... thanks for getting sketchy with us at jingle belles.

  2. I love pink Christmas cards....and I feel your -38 pain...we have windchill warnings in effect for -48 tonight....brrrr...we were spoiled and now the revenge is upon us....saying this through chattering teeth....

  3. Your pink is wonderful. Lovely card. That little topiary tree is a great addition.

38 Below is so nuts. I can't even imagine that cold.

  4. pink is a totally fun work to work with. wishing we had some of your cold weather 'cos it's hot, hot, hot here in singapore

  5. Very cool card! Minus 38?? Holy crap, you better button down the hatches, stay home, and make art.

  6. ooooooh! now *THAT* is what i call one gorgeous, glamorous and totally original take on kirsty's sketch! i ♥LOVE♥ that fabulous tree and all of the different "sparklee bits" you've worked into this lovely card! well done, missus!!! ♥

38 BELOW zero??!?!?! ok, yeah. that's just silly. a walk in fridge is not that cold!!! on the other hand, this whole "canadian winter" thing is totally putting new jersey into perspective... ta very much, canadia!!! :)

Thank you for your visit. I really appreciate it!
