Move along, move along. Nothing to see here.
My friend Wendy over at Bliss Angels was wondering out loud how people display their ATC's. Good question. I have some in a box, actually, I have A LOT in a box, and then, I have some on the wall.
I've discovered (as you can see by this example) that you can fit two vertical ATC's perfectly inside a 4x6 mat opening. I can only assume that it's the way it is supposed to be.
Then of course, there is the ubiquitous 7 Gypsies "Printer's Tray" with which that we're all familiar. That's not my idea, I just followed directions.
Why did I ask you to move along, you wonder? Cus I'm cheating today. I would bet I've put all of these images on my blog in times past, and so I'm doing it for the second time. I think in Bloggese, that's against the trules. Having said that, I don't much care, really. This is for my buddy Wendy.
and it's not like there are "Blog Police", after all.
Are there?
Good gracious, I hope there aren't any blog police!! I'm certain they would have carted me away at some point then! And you're going to eventually have to open up an art museum to display all of your work!!
ReplyDeletei love your displays, im going to keep a look for out for some frames now. I love that you fit 2 side by side...no no no to the blog police... jenxo
ReplyDeleteWhat Blog Police......arn't they too busy blogging.... The way you have displayed your ATCs is brilliant and I now feel guilty as mine are in files in a cupboard, and your way is so much better. Enjoy your week, Annette x
ReplyDeleteAnd your friend Wendy is very humbled that you would risk the blogger police to show her how you display your ATC's and I love each idea I may have to borrow afew.... thank you dear friend... Hugs Wendy ps let me know when you are ready to swap again
ReplyDeleteI think this is absolutely how one must display ATC's. No question. Looks fantastic, and I won't tell the po-po homes.
ReplyDeleteWonderful ways to display these little visual treats. My poor little guys are in a little ID badge holder album thingy. I might have to copy your frame idea. Now where are all those spare frames...
ReplyDeleteOh, and I think that you and I are going to have to make a run for it together from the blog police.
What e beautiful atc s!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBlog Police?? Please no..... Now I know what to do with my ATCs, instead of keeping them in a tea tin on my desk. Mind you, I haven't made anywhere as many as you..... Yet. I like them in the long frame.
ReplyDeleteI'm still a bit shy of displaying my artwork, except some of the decoupage because its so big. Guess I'd better get over it fast, or give up creating, because I'm running out of secret storage!!
I am SO happy you DID share these all today! They look amazing and now I totally want to do a bunch of swaps to get lots of ATC's so I can display them in my studio! LOL! These look so inspiring! Wow! I need to find your friends!
ReplyDeleteooooh, pretty. I'm a deputy blog police recruit and I'm afraid I'm going to have to confiscate these beauties (er...I mean evidence) until such time as you get a fair hearing. So, you'll just have to box them up and send them down heyah. Purty please? They are so cool looking, I love them and you display them which I don't do, I too have mine in a box, which is a terrible waste of art. You have inspired me!
ReplyDeleteOh don't they all look pretty in those frames. Love them especially the one that says she might contain nuts!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any sophisticated way of doing it.
I use Scotch magic tape that I make a small circle of by having the sticky side on the outside, this turns it into double sided tape and I use this method to stick my ATC's all over the place. It works for cards lightweight wall art as well and as long as you buy this brand and not the cheaper rivals it won't pull any paint off the wall when you move it. Cheap and quick :-)
