Thank You Poobahs!!!

It arrived! My blog candy from the Opus girls arrived today! It's so awesome! I've been home 1/2 hour and I've already opened it and played with it and I can guarantee, I'll have my first LO using the treats, done before 2010 hits! the heck with making supper tonight.
This is after I sent a very sad email to Rosemary saying (with a tear in my eye) that I had given up and accepted it had somehow gotten lost in the mail or something. Almost 4 weeks to get from Maryland to Canada. Where is Maryland anyways???? Timbuktoo?
Anyhoo, it all came in this sweet felt (I LOVE felt) bag and I feel as though Christmas arrived all over again.
So Rosemary, please disregard my weepy email and thank you thank you thank you both!
I hope we all have a safe, warm New Year's Eve tonight!

  1. Ok, so congratulations on the win *and* the receipt of the ol' bounty. Now, can you please tell me the brand of pretty paper and embellies? I am seriously coveting them. Seriously.

BTW, I found you through Opus, who I found just the other day. I love your humor. :)

    Cheers,
    Susan

  2. Hi Susan!
The blog candy is "Winterberry" from the "MyMomenta" company, who I'm not familiar with. But it's so pretty, foiled and glittered and delicate! There are some sweet Inadinkado (I loved writing that!) stamps too, and one in particular that is a little bird on a string, as if it were a hanging ornament. I have a bird obsession. I'm going to pretend it's Christmas all year, I think.
You'll love Opus, it's a lot of fun and some very talented ladies hang out there.
    Enjoy the brand new year!

  5. No, not four weeks to get up there - two weeks for Rosemary to get it out the door and my sincere apologies. I should never have tried to juggle so many things. Glad you like it and that it made it to Canada! HUGS!

  6. LOL! Aw, come on, let me be melodramatic! :-) You've obviously never dealt with Canada Post. This can apply to other mess-ups in years past, trust me. Hugs to you too!
