Paris in July

Please put your chairs in their upright position and return the tables to their original position.  We are preparing for landing.

Today Paris in July comes to an end.  Travelling always makes me exhausted, but it's always nice to come home.  Here are some of the places I've visited in my mind (and through other participants' blogs):

The Paris Opera House, on Inaugeration Day.  That's the cool thing about imaginary travel, you can visit any time, any century, you don't have to wait for a seat sale.

the grounds of the Palace of Versailles,
the gardens

and of course, the grand interiors

You know, I've been to a lot of places in my travels, but I have to tell you  Paris is definitely the most romantic.  I'm glad I went.  Aren't you glad you joined me?
I wonder where we'll go next?
Je Me souviens.

I really have enjoyed the creative way you've participated in Paris in July. Je vous remerci! (Ps I never thought you were crazy when your computer changed language, I just thought it bizzare).

  3. These photos are stunning, how beautiful Paris is. I am green with envy {big time!} LoL! You look like you had an amazing trip and thankfully you've returned safe! I am always extra paranoid when people go away, and I mean I get worried when my boyfriend Eric just goes across town to work, hehe, so I am thankful you had a safe trip and a fun one by the looks of it.

I also wanted to reply to your comment about my shoes...hehehe. I have now worn them for a few days now and I have already noticed a HUGE difference in how my footsies feel. My Dr. told me that they would hurt me at first because of the custom made inserts and I guess added support but nope, none of that here. Well okay, maybe the very FIRST day. I really like the feel of them. Eric {my bf}has suggested that since purple is my favorite color I put in purple laces to spruce them up a little. I think I will do just that. My only complaint about the shoes is that they are a little bit bigger than the normal average tennis shoe, which makes me a weeeee bit self consious. However, I am 38 years old and even if I have to suffer some snickers behind my back {which could all be in my paranoid head}, I am willing to take it for the sake of being comfy. LoL!

My insurance paid for the shoes due to me being diabetic, so perhaps if you are in the same situation, you can get some snazzy moonboots too {as I call them} hehe.

    You take care!
    SMiles!
